Study of light, still got a long way to go.

I've just signed a life long contract to paint my friend once a year. Here's a sketch of the very first one.

A painting that has stretched from the middle of last year, til now I finally had the time to finish this beast. It started from a sketch at school, then I blew it up and painted it on two separate canvas. I feel that it can use something else, perhaps more of a background element. Not sure, I'm going to keep at it.
